rf online episode 2 finally up!

     the long wait is finally over (well, for RF fans that is), RF online episode 2 is finally up! i have been playing RFO for about a month now and i can say that this game is addictive. the new patch features:

Leon Weapons
Special weapons which have to be assembled from various parts (4 total) that can acquired from completing Battle Dungeons. These special weapons, though’ they look like normal ones have power abilities making them a class higher than any weapon currently available in RF Online

Jet Packs
These special accessories worn in the cape slot of the equipment menu not only allows the characters upgraded movement, but also additional bonus that range from critical protection to various elemental protection.

Radar Items
Special items which reveal the locations pitbosses, players and even archons on the map. There are 3 different types of Radar’s available and each of them reveal a diff. objects on the map. Very useful tools, but must be used wisely, cooldown for this item is over 200+ secs.

Crag Mine Barricades
New Barricades and obstacles have been placed in Crag mines and around the chips and racial bases, making maneuvering and targeting a lot more difficult. Tactics and positioning will now play a much bigger role in Chip Wars.

Monster Force Ability
Monsters are now capable of using Force Skills, both attack and de-buffs, making them a lot more formidable than they were in episode 1.

Monster Block Ability
Monsters are now capable of using Force Skills, both attack and de-buffs, making them a lot more formidable than they were in episode 1.

Monster Elemental Resistances
Monsters now have elemental weaknesses and strengths forcing players to choose their elemental attacks vs. a monster wisely.

Monster Status Bar
Monster status bars now show not only the monsters name and HP, but the monsters base type, elemental type, aggression level, and available skills.

New NPC’s
New NPC’s are now in-game, these NPC’s sell assorted Type-A and Type-B armors and weapons, at albeit exorbitant prices.

Pitboss Respawn Probability
Pitboss’ no longer spawn every 4 hours, instead each Pitboss has a percentile chance to respawn every 4 hours.

     these are just some of the latest features but the best thing about episode 2 is that ITS FREE TO PLAY!! Buying all those expensive level-up cards for game time is now over! nice nice nice. oh, and ACCRETIA for life! we be whoopin’ yer asses on the next chip war suckers!!
